Our Cake Flavours

All of the cakes at Three Tiers & Tea are baked fresh to order. We firmly believe that you get what you pay for when it comes to the ingredients for your cake which is why we only use the freshest and finest ingredients. Including free range eggs, fresh organic fruits, Madagascan vanilla and Belgian cocoa and couverture chocolate to name a few. Our menu is a carefully chosen selection of our most popular flavours but we are happy to tailor flavours to suit your requirements. 

Our cakes contain three perfect layers of sponge separated by two generous layers of filling, carefully put together so as to look exquisite when cut.

Cakes can be finished with buttercream icing in a variety of textures or with a thin layer of white, milk or dark chocolate ganache and fondant iced for a smooth, flawless finish. 

 

MENU 

Classic Vanilla - light vanilla sponge layered with vanilla bean buttercream and raspberry conserve

Lemon - moist lemon sponge infused with lemon zest layered with lemon buttercream and tangy lemon curd

Chocolate - a rich chocolate sponge layered with decadent chocolate ganache  

Coconut - coconut infused sponge with creamy coconut buttercream, raspberry conserve and a sprinkling of desiccated coconut

Carrot & Walnut - carrot and walnut cake layered with orange buttercream

Lemon & Lavender - lavender infused sponge layered with lemon buttercream and lemon and lavender curd

Traditional Rich Fruitcake - brandy soaked and loaded with fruit and nuts, finished with a delicious layer of natural marzipan

 

Please note: All of our cakes contain wheat, eggs and diary and are made in a kitchen which uses nuts.


Prices & Portions 

As all of our cakes are bespoke and made to order they are quoted for on an individual basis. Prices will vary depending on the size, flavours and complexity of design. Please contact us for an accurate quote. 

Prices are for generous cakes up to 5” deep (your choice of cake depth may depend on your design), fully iced in your choice of finish. Approximate servings are for 1”x1” portions up to 5” deep. Decoration, styling, set-up and delivery will incur an extra charge.

Cake Stand Hire 

Here at Three Tiers & Tea we have a large selection of cake stands/props available for hire with any cake ordered from us which can be the perfect finishing touch to the display of your wedding cake. Please take a look at our stands and prices below.

 

HIRE COSTS

7-tier perspex cupcake stand: £25.00 (Hire) £85.00 (refundable breakage deposit)

1-tier slate grey porcelain cake stand: £25.00 (Hire) £40.00 (refundable breakage deposit)

 

Cake stands can be hired from as little as £25 per stand plus a breakage deposit which will be refunded once the stand is returned to us undamaged within 3 working days of your wedding. The breakage deposit amount will depend on the stand that is hired.
